Steve Rathje, Sportsman, Gun Owner, Gun Rights Advocate, and Lifetime Member of the NRA
Hello everyone, my name is Steve Rathje. Given the situation our country currently finds itself in, and the lack of accurate information being disseminated from the main stream media, I felt it my duty to put in place an informational system that would cut through the spin to help educate you, the American citizen. My philosophy is simple; it's one of personal responsibility, which means keeping abreast of what's taking place within our government so we can make clear and concise decisions on Election Day. So, I've formed this website to not only keep you informed, but to give you the opportunity to voice your opinion as well. Here you can be linked directly to your State and/or Federal Legislatures voting record as it becomes available. You can see and read for yourself how your State Representative, Congressman or Senator voted on each and every bill. No more political spin from politicians or mainstream media reporting their bias opinion. This site will give you the tools you need to get informed and stay informed.

I also believe it important that you know more about me, who I am, and what I stand for. So I've designed this sight to offer that as well. You can follow me as I speak with and "listen" to the people of Iowa, read about where I stand on the issues regarding limited government, personal responsibility and a strong military defense, and see what I have to say about what Democrats have in mind for your money.

We all know how the 2008 election cycle was about change for the Democrats. In one week, their so called change has resulted in our tax dollars being used for overseas abortions, more bailouts for mismanaged companies and banks (to the tune of 3 trillion dollars), payoffs for unions, the Guantanamo prison being closed (while having no place to house the terrorists responsible for 911 and the death of our troops), and more regulations for the manufacturing sector of this country.

The Government cannot end the current economic crisis, but the people of this country can. We need leaders in Washington ladies and gentlemen, not political participants. If there is to be real change, there needs to be real solutions.

You owe it to yourself, your family and your country to become as educated as you can and then and only then will real change come about.

God bless,

Steve Rathje
