I am today endorsing the Honorable Steve Rathje for United States Senator to run against Tom Harkin. I believe he has the ability and knowledge to beat our current Senator.

For more than two years Steve has been diligently campaigning throughout all ninety-nine counties meeting with, listening to and addressing the concerns of the people of Iowa. There is no doubt that his efforts to inform the people of Iowa as to who he is and what he stands for has paid off.

Dear Friends,

As a fellow conservative, I'm proud to publicly endorse Steve Rathje in his bid to become our next United States Senator from Iowa...for defeating Democrat incumbent Tom Harkin and the ultra-liberal agenda of the Democrat Party's leadership, must become a priority for all of Iowa's Republicans.

I know that Steve is personally committed to the social issues that are near and dear to my heart: the sanctity of life of the unborn, the long established concept of marriage being between one man and one woman, and the importance of the traditional family to the very continuation of our civilization.

But just as important to me is his dedication to the concepts of: limited government, lower taxes, border control and the enforcement of our immigration laws, because it makes him the well-rounded candidate Iowans can get behind.

Finally, I know I can trust Steve's decision-making when it comes to our Nation's security and our on-going war against Islamic Fascism.
